Yesterday, I was introduced to InspiroBot.
One of the magical pieces of wisdom that it imparted today was the following.
I like it. Seems like sound advice to me.
(Are you starting your day with something funny every day?)

I find it fascinating that The Last Supper is my favorite meme.
Win Anne Allan's masterpiece, Camp Camp: The Last Food Fight Fight, at RT SideQuest's Silent Auction for charity at RTX on July 6.
(She'll also have some Camp Camp Chibi keyrings if you can find her at RTX.)
(NOTE: Sidequest is a separate but parallel event at RTX. A separate pass is required for Sidequest events, but they're worth it. You will find RT/AH people at SideQuest events, but the best part is finding the community at them.)
(PS. Thanks to desayjin for retweeting.)
Then, we can go to the calendar and type Oxford into the filter on the left side of the calendar to see OCC events for the month that we're viewing. Then after, we can click/tap on the event in the calendar to see the details.
Since there are events for online get-togethers on the calendar, I feel that it is appropriate to plan game nights and publish it with RTW-ICD as well. We could use the calendar to avoid collisions with other events. ("Don't split the party.")
This is just a suggestion. Feedback on this is requested. All ideas are welcomed. The goal is to create a standard method for OCC events that is easy to use. If the scheduling idea is approved, then it would also be a good idea to add the procedure to OCC information threads.
I want the OCC to thrive outside of the site just like its own forums thrive far better than the RT forums.
(Of course, the teased site revision might make this all moot, but until we can rely on the site for it, RTW-ICD seems to me like the best option to me unless someone has a better idea.)

Marshall (yes, that Marshall) stated that, if you want to write comedy, you should begin every day by seeing or hearing something funny.
Since it is meant to put you in a funny frame of mind, could it be good to do that regardless if you want to write?
Wanna try it?

RTX can easily become hectic, but I suggest to try to get together with friends and community and do stuff together in-between RTX-specific events at the least and together during RTX-specific events at best.
It will take some coordination. Communication is key. Impromptu meetups are cool. Premade plans will need to be flexible. Communication is key.
Communication is key. Find ways to keep in touch. Keep in touch. If plans change, let people know. Keep in touch. Communication is key.
Communication is key. Keep in touch. RTX is better with friends.
Got it? Say it. "RTX is better with friends. Communication is key. Keep in touch."
There will be a test on this in early July.
(Also, this should not need to be stated, but "Don't be a dink.")
