From the vlog and the subreddit r/RWBY, has been confirmed that all content from RT will be released a week early for sponsors, meaning that non - sponsors would have to wait a week for to see any new release on animation content. This has become a concern for both sponsors and those who are non - sponsors that a week early release is a bit too much. It might divide the community up about spoiling content. This wouldn't be fair any mods on community websites for shows like RVB and RWBY for both sponsors and non sponsors a like trying to wait. Factors like real life (for example paying bills, rent/mortgage, school, health insurance can be hard for some to come by) and possible piracy might drive people away. Waiting 24 hrs or two days is okay, but I feel that the focus might be shifted towards revenue more so than content/story/art. Some people have a hard time catching because.... well, they are busy living their lives. But this practice seems unfair in my opinion to anyone (including some of my friends) wanting unwind and watch the shows after a hard day, but can't, due to this! A week might sound good on paper, but implemented, a bit asinine. Judging from what some of the comments are saying, there's got to be a middle ground. RT has done some great things, but this I feel might disconnect the community to some degree.
