And the characters rash, a nice setting for heartache where emotions come last All I have deep inside, to overcome this desire are friendly intentions and fair-weather smiles
Man, it sucks not coming on this site regularly because you all write so many freakin' journals it's hard to keep up with 'em!!
Really? Are you sure? How about the fact that I'm highly neurotic?
I started playing Assassin's Creed--the original--yesterday. :) I tried CoD MW2, but I've never played a shooter before. I failed the obstacle course part.
My intro psych class had very few papers, only one page or so. My next psych classes had short papers as well. Dammit. I don't know if I've had a single no paper whatsoever class...
Yeah. We've got a nice Thanksgiving plan then on Saturday we have a memorial Mass and dinner for my Poppy. He died last Thanksgiving.
Honestly, I did nothing. I was offered all these goodies. Well, at least the DVDs were offered.
I haven't touched Brutal Legends very much...I really gotta work on it. But I've been very busy.
I think it depends on what classes you're taking. I generally don't take English or even Classic classes. I stick with Psychology, which tends not to have many papers...but next semester, I'm taking a Psych class that involves papers (*cries*) because it's all about performing experiments and writing them up. :( It'll make me nervous, but it's necessary for if I ever go into Psych research...which I am doing.
My mom is getting better. As of last weekend she could sleep laying down, which is good. But my family seemed to be trading off sickness beforehand.
pft. Please. Eve 6 is in my top 5 favorite bands, if not in the #3 slot. I find it too hard to pick favorites. Also, Out Cold is one of the most badass movies of all time.
Apollo, a god known for his skills in archery, mocked Cupid--saying that he was much more skilled. Cupid set out to prove him wrong. He simultaneously hit Apollo and a nymph, Daphne, with arrows. Apollo was hit by an arrow causing him to fall in love with Daphne, while Daphne was hit with an arrow taking love away. (Now in one telling Apollo had a competitor who pretended to be a girl to get her affection. Apollo exposes him by having them go bathe in the river. After they kill the guy competitor,) Apollo decides to try and entice Daphne. But she runs, and thus begins the chase. She runs and runs, but begins to tire. So she prays to a god(dess--depends on the story it's either Zeus, Gaia or her father) to save her and they turn her into a laurel tree.
We spoke, and it wasn't pretty, but at least everything was put out in the open, and she's fully aware of why, exactly I was unhappy with her. Turns out there were a lot of misunderstandings for both parties, but the end result is still the same: our friendship has grown entirely too complicated, and there's really no way we can be at the same level we used to be at. That said, I don't like unnecessary complications in my life, and the benefit of her friendship no longer outweighs the burden.
So, I told her, "Take care of yourself. I guess I'll see you around."
