Child's Play Charity Dinner/Auction
So I was once again fortunate enough to be able to attend this awesome event. Only this time I was working it. Not much different aside from the being there since 9am bit hehe. Saw lots of awesome people like CJ Cowen, Burnie, Matt, Nathan, Laird, among many others. There was lots of cool Halo stuff this year which made me wish that I could've had some more money with which to get awesome stuff, but alas, not this year. So with the silent auction over we went to the live auction and there was a special Bungie pack in there I was excited about. The winner would get to go to Bungie in April 2010 and play Reach early, they also would recieve a trunk full of swag. Oh and I forgot to mention that they would be able to bring 7 friends with them. So I waited patiently for that lot to come up and surely enough once it did a few usual suspects began bidding on it. And I am happy to report that one of my enforcer friends won it. After the auction he came up to me and told me, "You know you're coming". I then proceeded to hug him for the next 5 minutes. All in all an awesome night, and I had a lot of fun meeting lots of people again.
