im in a small town called Littlethorpe (Narborough train station) near leicester.
im not sure how much the rooms are, or their capacity, but i can find out next time i go past the pub.
im thinking of just posting the phone number and a reference code to the group, that way the attendees are responsible for their own accommodation, and it is on the pub to allow/disallow minors to stay overnight.
yeah, so far we have a city and approximate time of year ( so as far as we got in the past!)
this time, however, i found pub not far from my house in Littlethorpe/Narborough (near leicester...where im going to suggest to the guys).
good things about doing it there are;
its IN a pub (also, its the pub's responsibility to monitor under-18s). the meeting room is only £40 a day (rather than the hundreds the uni's were gonna charge). i could spit on the pub from the train station...literally. i live no more than 5 mins away, so if anyone gets in trouble, ex-army, medically trained people (parents) are right there. the pub offers relatively cheap accommodation, as well as serving food (til 9pm i think) and drink.
only downsides are that it is a small town (so no real places to out, as there would be in leicester centre), and all alcohol would need to be purchased from the pub (a minor inconvenience, but one nonetheless)
got a bbq at my place in leicester between 8th-12th august if youre up for coming.
i was gonna ask if you wanted to be an admin of the RvBUK group with me, hammy, hobbitboy and tudorVII...this bbq would be a meeting place for us to talk over the details before the event.
