(and it gets on my tits)So...something to journal about...Well, it's nearly been 3 years since I first sponsored RT. Amazing how much has changed since then when it doesn't feel like very long at all. Quite a few people who know me will also know that my sponsorship is glitched and I've only paid for it once that entire time. Right now in my sponsor settings it reads: Your next estimated renewal date is 04/16/07. Does not compute is a classic phrase that comes to mind. At first when I realised my estimated renewal date came and went without any money being shook out of PayPal, I felt guilty. So much so that I competed with the inane comments on staff profiles to bring it to their attention, which didn't work. But somehow in what feels like a short time I've gone from feeling guilty to thinking "good thing I'm not PAYING for this". Indeed, the little bar of text that sometimes appears next to my Sponsor menu option in the top right corner that reads "(and we love you for it)" is such a stomach churning message devoid of meaning that I let out a little chuckle knowing that someone's lazy attempt at customer intimacy is misplaced. Man, I'm such a bastard. A nice fluffy journal to come. |
