According to my Psychology of Learning class Victor of Aveyron is the first documented case of a feral child who is found and tried to be reintegrated into society.

if snap chat wants 3 bil, facebook should pay 3bil.

it is analogous to facebook like 5 years ago where everyone spent every second of the day on it. everyone uses snapchat. and they sit on it to wait for new pictures. but all these fads fade so if i'm an analyst doing a 3-5 year projection on snap chat. i believe the value is less in 5 years than it is today. because i expect the fad to turn.

snap chat should either sell off some shares or have an ipo. either way they should sell off some of the shares. despite facebook was a 1/million success company that is now worth billions more than originally offered.

anyway. i dont use snap chat or facebook so this comment should be disregarded lolololol

BURNIE, you asked the question "I wonder if being musically talented has a negative affect on the way you view most mainstream music?".... Or something along those lines I believe. Its ABSOLUTELY does, I have been incessantly studying music theory over the past six months and what Ive discovered is that popular/ radiofriendly/ mainstream music (or the majority of it) is so simple compared to the vastness of complexities one could create in music. Variations of Triads and simple melodies are endlessly reused and recycled and it is sad that most people dont know any better or care to know any better.
Lets say the world's collective knowledge of music theory is your laptop screen or your monitor, America's mainstream music would only be about the size of a shortcut folder.
This rant is also speaking in terms of song structure as well, verse chorus verse chorus bridge outro is what the standard has become. Why are we trapped into this limited and simplistic way of writing music? The more I listen to the radio, the more I get pissed off.

When they're talking about streets being like south/east/whatever... like is that not a thing everywhere? Our city is divided up into quadrants and it makes perfect sense, is that an unusual thing or is Austin just trying to do that but it turned out badly?

I have to say my bit on fucked up art. In school, I learned about an artist named Guillermo Vargas, who tied up a starving dog in an art gallery, and gallery goers watched the dog starve to death. He called it art. Absolutely mortifying.

On the topic of gold erosion/reaction, it is a very unreactive metal but it is possible to get it to react with something called Aqua Regia (latin for royal water) which is a mixture of nitric and hydrochloric acid in a 1:4 ratio. I'm remembering this from a while ago so take it with a pinch of salt. Under general circumstances it will never react

I love these podcasts, it really gives us all an insight as to who and what these people at Rooster Teeth are. You know what I mean?

And, just adding on, I think that Bernie; you should learn an instrument and there is none better than the piano. And if you buy an electronic one, you can get those cool sounds with dogs barking and gunshots and stuff, so you really can't go wrong, eh? Hahahahaah.

The hymen is actually a flexible membrane that not every vagina even has in the first place that doesn't get "broken" during penetrative sex. Sometimes it can get stretched if the person happens to be more athletic/active.

So basically the dude writing about the girl from Heros is mega creepy and gross.

BURNIE!!! Sorry man I really doubt if anyone will read this but I'm pretty drunk right now but I know my shit about WWII so let me lay down some knowledge on you. By the time the western allies (that is the U.S., Britain, and France) started moving into German territory in earnest, the war was going very badly for the Nazis. The gold Bill was talking about was discovered sometime in the spring of 1945 (February through April, the last full month of the war). By this time, the Germans had already lost their last remaining trading partners (Sweden ended its iron ore trade under Allied pressure in November of 1944 and Finland, which was fighting against the Russians until September of 1944 when they signed a peace treaty with Russia and switched sides) and had been economically isolated for several months. So by this time of the war, all of the resources the Nazis were using were coming from within the remains of the Third Reich. In that situation, there were no nations for the Germans to buy materials from with their gold. In the end, the gold reserves of Nazi Germany mattered very little in their eventual defeat as they had been totally destroyed in battle, with almost all of their territory and the resources within liberated by the western allies and the USSR. So there you have it, I'm sorry I ruined Bill Murray for you.

When Gavin said have a kid at each point, I thought he meant like have sex with kid, so after they promptly cleaned up that misconception for me and when Burnie was saying that he would be hard-pressed to find something worse than abandoning a child at each point, I was immediately thinking that I could think of something worse: raping a child at each point.

Hey guys. Gus was right on the music video. Michel Gondry (director of Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind) directed a music video for a band called Cibo Matto and the song is called Sugar Water.

Burnie, Semisonic did have a music video in split-screen but none of the screens were playing in reverse unlike the Sugar Water music video.

    Great podcast, btw.

With 10 years of martial-arts training(trying not to brag) i always think i would always help someone or i would be able to stop a situation immediately. and i have before. so i always think there is a problem with people. not thinking how most people think. people get scared and dont want to be in a situation where they them-selfs can get hurt and thats why people don't help. out of a big crowed though someone probably can. and fuck that person who know they can but doesn't. or the cops who are hesitate as well.

For anyone who is interested how much money you'd need to get to the moon.

A bank note is roughly 0.11mm in thickness. The distance to the moon is 68400km (roughly). That means (assuming a single stack and the notes are incompressible) you'd need 3.49x10^11 bank notes.

    Thats 349 BILLION bank notes

Talking about youngest memories, nobody ever believes me when I say this, but my youngest memory was when I was 6 months old. I can remember being at my great grandmother's trailer as we were moving her out and into our house. I can remember the entire layout and the colors of the walls, and there are no pictures from inside of it.

Jesus does no one realize that the guy with the water bottles shifted the group mentality? They mentioned how everyone started helping after that, all you need to do is shift the mentality if people are just standing around during a distressing situation. The water bottle guy did, but could you imagine if someone just tried sooner? She might have not been stabbed 20 times, I'm just saying that we need to wake up and realize we can conform to or change group mentality by being a leader, you see this with fights all the time, one person starts to break it up so then other people start stepping in, OR even something as simple as opening a door, go hold the door open for someone and if it's crowded see if it get's mirrored. Just stop being a slave and if that does happen become a leader, it's such a fucking shame we aren't taught this. Sure a guy with a knife is intimidating to one person but when 50 go after him I don't think he has much power. I already know I'm gonna be downvoted for this but owell.

there acutaually has been a documentated case about language and development. there was a girl who was found at 13 who was basically tied to her bed and had very limited human contact. the abuse that she suffered was finally found out and she was taken away from her family. here is the wiki if any of you are interested.

Yeah, I have no doubts that she is good at her job, nor am I saying she's ugly but too many people on this site just see only that pretty face. Also idk about watching anything Mega64, I have a strong opposition to them.
