Church and Tex aren't really there. His presence is simply a representation of how he would feel about his "legacy" if he could plausibly reflect on his destruction at the end of season 6. Tex's unusually gentle responses are meant to capture the love that Allison and Director Church once shared, and her statements of "not really being dead if someone remembers you" is a hint towards Church's later resurrection through Epsilon. Honestly, it's not that hard to figure out.

So why is church alive when he died in the emp blast?
A: he did die he is actually a ghost now. That's why no one saw him. Alpha and the original tex are dead. They are just looking at caboose wondering how smart he is and when he'll bring out epsilon.

Dumbass, Andy doesn't die when he blows up. They even show in the outtakes in season 4 of Red vs Blue, Andy had a little gas (or something) and he keeps blowing up in the shot. Even having one of the characters holding him when he blows and he is still there in the guys hands. Also, it's spelled ghost not goust dipshit.

I'm still kinda confused about this prologue. How can Church be there if He was destroyed by the EMP? And It can't be Epsilon/Church because Caboose hasn't made him yet. Plus I'm confused about Tex in general was she an AI also? But that wouldn't make sense either because the Freelancer project could only get one AI. Unless Tex is another fragment of the Alpha.... I'm so confused...
