Remember That Contest?
You know, the one with all the robots. And man, if this contest has shown me one thing: It’s horrifying to believe how many actual robots there are in this world poised to turn on their human masters and enslave us all. That said I wanted to break things up into 1st through 3rd with an honorable mention.
Ok, honorable mention goes to Bob Hood for a creation called “Tuppy.”

Tuppy can self navigate and keep your lunch fresh all at the same time.
3rd place goes to Gordon Underhill who gives us a fully functional automaton named “RAMM” that was designed and engineered from the ground up.

RAMM is self compensating which means it can walk freely.
2nd place goes to a team headed by Mario Munoz for a robot named “LINDA.” LINDA was designed for a robotics competition in New York which it ultimately would qualify for the finals in Georgia.

Good luck in Atlanta guys!
Finally, 1st place goes to a guy who only goes by the name of “Rob.” Rob failed to name his entry or indicate how it was created or even how it works, so we here at the office have decided to call this thing Steve.

Steve goes from liquor store to liquor store making friends by waving a gun around and demanding alcohol from whoever it meets. Steve also drives a Lamborghini.
Also we decided to come up with a back story for Steve.

This one goes to eleven...
Chapter 11 of Red vs. Blue: Reconstruction is now online. It's hard to believe we've already released the eleventh episode of Reconstruction. If Red vs. Blue were an Olympic sport, and episodes were gold medals, then Michael Phelps would be our bitch.
Come on, Olympic committee! What do badminton and water polo got that we don't?

Double D Vision
I don't know if you've played Soul Calibur IV yet, or if maybe you've seen the latest Achievement Hunter walkthrough, but let's just say that there are assets in the game that are a little...ridiculous.

Oh, What a Wonderful Dev Day
So today we have two neat things for you guys. Would you like to know what they are? That's handy, because I was just about to tell you.
1. The Blog
We've updated our home page yet again (when haven't we, that's the real question) to add a new feature: The Blog. This is a brand new section of the website that aggregates journals from all of the staff members into one awesome read.
The idea for this stemmed from the original Red vs. Blue website homepage, that did act as more as a blog. However in the new days, when journals came about, the home page kind of lost the wacky fun that we would write about. No more!
You can even add the blog to your watchlist if you like, so you can get alerted any time a staff member posts a journal in the site header, so you'll be alerted much faster than the regular watch method.
2. Moderator Nominations
This one's more of a big deal. Our forums are in desperate need of some new staffing. Watching a TV show this week made me realise just how understaffed we are (not really, but that would have been a great epiphany).
We're holding nominations for users who you think would be great moderators in specific forums only. For example, I could nominate Geoff as a moderator for the Television forum, and that would be his territory. However, I would never nominate Geoff, because he's useless.
Go ahead and start voting. The deadline is Thursday at 11am Central. Wow, I feel like Ryan Seacrest already.

El Yum
So today or tomorrow is the second anniversary of RT Comics (I can't keep it straight). I guess that means it's time to get working on another book. In leu of gifts, just send hookers and booze.

Math-tastrophy
Today's comic comes in response to the recent announcement regarding the future of Geometry Wars as a franchise. I won't link it here, because then you'd read the link, and the comic would be kind of spoiled for you - and that's not fair to you dammit. Also, Luke whipped up a fancy wallpaper for you guys too. Here's non-wide screen, and much cooler wide screen version.

X Marks the Chapter
Dear Entire World,
Chapter 10 of RvB: Reconstruction - or as I like to call it, "Episode X" - is now available. If you're a sponsor, you'll also find a very informative - or as I like to call it, "ridiculous" - bonus commentary video. Enjoy!
